EINS is all about the experience and feeling you get when you conquer your city with your own EINS bike. When the idea was born in 2019, there weren’t many cool options for E-yikes in Germany. You only heard of some other brands in other countries that weren’t available in Germany, and none of them had an electric BMX. To give a little context, all of our founding members are into BMX and motocross, so naturally, that was a topic that was interesting for all of us.

That being said, the idea was born when we had a discussion about e-mobility and how cool E-bikes are for transportation in cities. Especially in large cities where finding a parking spot is always a challenge, not to mention that it is better for the environment and air quality in city centers. But the E-bike market did not really have much to offer us. In 2019, you could only buy E-MTBS, which are more sports tools than your daily means of transportation, and E-bikes (as we liked to call them). I mean those really heavy, boring-looking bikes that your grandma would normally use.

That was when we started to think about how you can electrify a BMX cruiser to be your go-to vehicle for daily transportation.

We began very unconventionally, welding the first frame, which looked nothing like the EINS does now.

We weren’t really satisfied with the outcome, so we took one step back and designed a new frame prototype with tape and plastic pipes that could be adjusted to try different designs and find the perfect one. In between several interactions: motor tests, the search for the perfect parts, and finding the perfect finish, which in our opinion is chrome galvanized because chrome plating feels high quality, has that retro BMX vibe and does not scratch or chip off. EINS The Most Coolest Bike Ever:

The EINS Most Fun Bike is designed in such a way that it references classic BMX but is transported into the future. The EINS is both a work of art and a tool. And you can’t really tell that the EINS is an E-bike at first glance. We wanted the EINS to be as compact as possible, so we built the battery into the still-adjustable seat and the mid-drive into the frame using our custom-made and designed motor cage. The ‘EINS’ premium and new luxury look are due to the attention to detail.

We also decided to only use premium bike parts and high-quality materials. That is why we chose very durable CrMo steel (which is commonly used in BMX frames), used chrome plating as a finish, and opted for a mid-drive motor because it is more responsive, has better acceleration, and is overall more fun to ride.

Do You Have Any New Bikes In The Pipe?

Right now, we are a single-model bike company, and maybe there will be an upgraded version of the EINS in the future. Because the product will evolve with time. But nothing is planned yet. What we are planning is to release add-ons for the EINS Electric Bike. Like baggage racks and integrated light systems, etc.
